Founder
Capitol Hill Stained Glass was founded by Hannah Bernhardt. Born and raised on Capitol Hill, Hannah approaches her craft with a background in orthodox stained glass restoration. Hannah studied stained glass under a traditional apprenticeship with a lineage spanning multiple generations of master craftsmen and maintains a tradition and legacy of leading with care and respect with every project.
Hannah’s work can be found in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and New York. She is currently based in Hyattsville, MD.

Studio Manager
C.S. Corbin is a multidisciplinary artist based in Washington, D.C., working across illustration, painting, and sculpture. Intrigued by the materials and process of leaded stained glass, they joined Capitol Hill Stained Glass in 2024 as an apprentice to train and learn the methods of the craft. Since then, Corbin has assisted Hannah on an array projects through the designing, construction, detail work, and installation stages.
